JOINT SEAL BEFORE PAINTING KNOTTING BARTOLINE 500ML

Bartoline Patent Knotting is a quick drying solution for sealing knots and resinous areas of bare timber, prior to the application of paints, waxes or polishes.

Preparation
Ensure that the wood to be treated is thoroughly clean and dry. Remove excess
resinous matter or loose particles. Shake container well before use.

Application
Apply 1-2 liberal coats using a brush, or lint free cloth. Allow to dry between coats.
Touch dry in 5-10 minutes. Can be re-coated after 30 minutes under normal
conditions. When the treated area is to be over-coated with a water-based coating
system, apply the knotting solution more sparingly, and once dry lightly abrade the
surface to provide a key before over-coating
