LOCTITE 518 hardens when there is no air gap between the metal surfaces. It is an anaerobic sealing material designed for use on rigid metal flanges mating surfaces. It fills gaps up to 0.25 mm and forms a flexible, chemical-resistant seal that will not tear or disintegrate. Spare parts are easily disassembled, even after extensive maintenance.
