LOCTITE® 55 is formulated for locking and sealing metal and plastic pipe and fittings. It does not need to polymerize and therefore guarantees an instant seal at maximum pressure. The ideal choice for a fast, easy and reliable sealing. The product is certified for gas and potable water according to NSF/ANSI, Standard 61.Loctite 55 Thread Sealant 12 meter can. Multi-fiber nylon thread sealant for both plastic and metal threads. Typical applications: sealing threaded components, such as pipe joints and fittings; seals fluids and non-fluids, up to temperatures of 150°C. Particularly suitable for immediate use of the system and where there is a need for repositioning before use. Certifications: Potable water up to 85°C, hot and cold water, gas. DVGW approved
