It is important to carry out good maintenance to ensure the quality of the filtration. There are different granulometry of sand and new filtering media such as vitreous.

Undoubtedly, sand or silica are the most used materials in domestic pools. Sand traps dirt from the water as it passes through the pores formed in its irregular shape. As a disadvantage, sand requires maintenance because, with its use, channels can form that cause water to pass directly into the pool without being filtered. Another disadvantage is the ability of sand to retain bacteria and microorganisms, which can cause them to multiply inside the filter.

This filter has been specially developed for the smallest filter pump in the Intex range. Thanks to this replaceable filter cartridge, your filter pump ensures clean and clear water. The filter cartridge is made of extra thick and sturdy paper so that it filters even better. For optimum results, we recommend replacing the filter cartridge every 2 weeks. Always switch off the pump before replacing the filter.
