Product Identity

Appearance: cement-based powder

Storage: 9 months in the original packaging, in a dry place
Particle size: 0-0.8mm

Grouting: 24 h * * The time for grouting or for final use may vary depending on weather conditions, application thickness and the porosity of the substrate.
Adhesion Strength

≥ 1 Ν/mm2 according ΕΝ 12004

0.8 Ν/mm2 30 min open time
2.1 Ν/mm2 after 28 days
1.5 Ν/mm2 after water immersion
1.9 Ν/mm2 after heat ageing
2.0 Ν/mm2 after freeze/thaw cycles
Slip 0.3 mm
Deformability: 3.3 mm
Temperature when in use: -30ºC-+90ºC

Application
With the flat side of the trowel apply the adhesive to the substrate, pressing firmly to work into surface. Comb on additional adhesive with the notched side. Use the proper sized notched trowel to insure full bedding of the tile.

Spread as much adhesive as can be covered with tiles in 25-30 minutes. Place tiles into wet, sticky adhesive and beat in using a beating block and rubber mallet to imbed tiles and adjust level. If mortar is skinned over (not sticky), remove and replace with fresh mortar.

Substrates Preparation

Substrates must be mechanically sound, free of loose particles, grease, oil or other materials that reduce the adhesion.
The substrate must be stable without cracks and have already completed the curing period of hygrometric shrinkage. Uneven sections must be corrected with suitable smoothing and finishing product.
Preparing the mix- Application

Pour the material to a bucket of clean water mixing constantly with a low speed (400 rpm) electric mixer until a creamy consistency is achieved. Allow mixture settle for 5 minutes and remix prior the application. Attention! Additional water will make your mixture sloppy and may cause negative results on final strength.

The open time of ALFAKOL 6*, in normal conditions of temperature and humidity is 30 minutes. Unfavourable environmental conditions (strong sunlight, drying wind, high temperature as well as highly absorbent substrate), could drastically reduce this time to a few minutes.

WATERPROOF SELF LEVELING ACRYLIC FLOOR SELF LEVELING COMPOUND 25KG

Ready high quality, cementitious self-leveling mortar, one component. Suitable for application from 5 – 30 mm in one layer.

PROPERTIES
Excellent workability and rheology
Easy application by hand or with a pump
Excellent adhesion
High mechanical strength
Smooth and perfectly flat surfaces

APPLICATIONS
Smoothing and leveling of new or existing irregular substrates of concrete, cement mortar or ceramic tiles, in order to form floors with high mechanical strength, suitable for heavy pedestrian traffic in department stores or vehicle traffic in warehouses and parking lots.
Suitable for industrial floors and floor leveling before applying carpets or parquet.
Replaces cement mortar in case of underfloor heating.
The floor from SELF LEVELING COMPOUND can be left as it is or it can accept ceramic or carpet etc. In the first case it is necessary to apply a protective layer of primer, 3-4 days after the application of the mixture, to reduce the absorbency of the floor. In the second case, just apply the appropriate glue for each application.
