SWAN PREMIUM POOL PAINT 2K (A+B) 3KG BLEU

PREMIUM POOL PAINT is a high performance 2 component acrylic – urethane paint for swimming pools.
It has excellent adhesion properties, elasticity, hardness and strong resistance to abrasion.
It is highly resistant to sun UV rays, chemicals, water, seawater and suntan oils. Its special acrylic – urethane technology guarantees a durable, long-lasting finish.

ADVANTAGES
Excellent adhesion properties and elasticity
Excellent wear and UV resistance
Excellent durability to water and seawater
Excellent resistance to chemicals
Guarantees a durable, long-lasting finish.

APPLICATIONS
Suitable for painting swimming pools of interior and exterior areas.
Suitable for application on concrete, screeds, stone, metallic and wooden surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should be dry and clean from dust and any oily residues. Dust, oil, humidity or rust seriously affect the coating’s adhesion.
Loose substrates of concrete and screeds are not suitable for painting as the coat will peel.
New surfaces of concrete or cement mortar should be painted one month after construction.
Surfaces already painted must be completely cleaned with chemical or mechanical means and sanded to a smooth finish.
The wet surface must be allowed to dry for at least 3 – 5 days prior to the paint application.

PRIMING
Prime surfaces with EPOXITE DUR primer.

APPLICATION
Components Α (resin) and Β (hardener) are already packed in separate containers with a preset mixing ratio. Any modification of the mixing ratio will result in improper polymerization of the mixture.
Mix the 2 components after careful mix of each component separately.
Stirring is done carefully for 3-5 minutes taking care to ensure thorough mixing of the two components on the walls and the bottom of the pail.
Imperfect mixing will result in uneven curing of the coating with parts that will not cure at all.
After mixing of the two components allow 10 – 15 minutes and then apply the coating as is or diluted up to 5% with polyurethane solvent.
Application is done with a brush, roller or spray gun in two or three coats.
The paint obtains its final properties 7 – 10 days after the application of the finishing coat.

REMARKS
PREMIUM POOL PAINT contains solvents and during application good ventilation of the space should be ensured.
It is advisable the use of protective clothing, gloves and mask with filter suitable for solvents.
The coated surface should be protected from humidity for 36 – 48 hours.
Should recoating be carried out after 15 days, the surface must be sanded with a coarse sandpaper and dust must be removed.
Curing as well as pot – life are affected by ambient temperature and humidity. Low temperatures and high humidity tend to increase pot – life while high temperatures and low humidity shorten the pot life.
Before using PREMIUM POOL PAINT read carefully all instructions and information relevant to its safe and best use.
Treatments such as sanding, welding, burning off, etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal (respiratory) protective equipment, as necessary

LEAD STATEMENT
WARNING: Treatment of old surfaces such as dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Lead dust may be released. Lead is toxic. Exposure to lead dust can cause serious illness. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
