The FFP2 mask type protects the person wearing it as it blocks the transmitted particles from being inhaled. It has a degree of protection of 95%. As the mask has a valve, no moisture accumulates inside the mask and breathing is facilitated. This type of mask is not recommended in health structures (eg hospitals and nursing homes) as the air we breathe is filtered while the air we exhale is not filtered.
